Inspired by an original archive pair produced by Conrad Shoe Co. for U.S. military supply in 1945, blucher 13 leather black reinterprets the reference into a 6-eyelet derby construction with a refined silhouette and everyday wearability in mind. Built with a 270° Goodyear welt and a double leather sole, it delivers a solid, dependable structure. The midsole is finished with rapid stitching before the outsole is attached, achieving both a clean look similar to hidden stitching and enhanced structural stability.

The upper uses “Dakota”, an A-grade leather from Italy’s Conceria Zonta tannery. Made from French calf and chrome-tanned with a semi-aniline finish, the leather allows wearers to adjust the upper’s gloss and tone over time through shoe care. The lining is crafted from Central/Eastern European calf, chrome-tanned and finished with aniline in the Torrita di Siena area of Italy, providing a soft feel and excellent moisture absorption. The insole, midsole, and outsole all use vegetable-tanned leather soles from Conceria Pietro Presot, naturally dried for over six months for long-lasting durability and breathability. A Dr. Sole Supergrip heel is applied to improve traction and wear resistance. 

A custom-developed E-width last provides a secure, comfortable fit for wider insteps and forefoots, while maintaining a clean, balanced silhouette even on higher-volume feet. Inside, a wooden shank supports natural spring and stability, and a coconut-fiber filler responds flexibly to pressure for a comfortable, natural underfoot feel.
